Sam has multiple years of experience leading business process improvement and automation initiatives. He joined Extraco after earning his Master of Science in Business Analytics from Texas Christian University in 2024. He is a business process improvement (BPI) and analytics professional with experience leading operational improvement initiatives across multiple business functions. 

As part of the BPI department, Sam led projects from discovery and analysis through implementation, helping streamline workflows and improve efficiency across as many as five departments within a single initiative. Over the course of two years, he contributed to more than 50 process improvement projects. In 2025, he helped drive over 25,000 hours of organizational time savings through process design, automation, and operational excellence efforts. 

Currently participating in Extraco’s Corporate Leadership Program, Sam is expanding his expertise to organizational strategy and enterprise-wide operations. He actively serves on internal task forces and committees that support the bank’s growth, culture and operational effectiveness. Sam is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Baylor University.
