John has over 24 years of experience at Extraco Banks. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University, with a minor in Economics. Prior to joining Extraco Banks, John worked for Arthur Andersen & Company in Chicago and Houston, where he provided software consulting services within their World Headquarters and Business Systems Consulting divisions. He also previously worked for McLane Company prior to joining Extraco Banks, managing their financial-related systems and worked with their managed ATM services division.

At Extraco Banks, John serves as the Director of Information Systems. In this role, he is responsible for the development and management of the company’s physical security platform, including the access control system. John plays a critical role in supporting Extraco Consulting clients by providing process refinement guidance, systems integration, and supports our partnership with Securitas, a provider of security solutions. Specifically, he supports clients in  implementation of alarm and access control systems for buildings, cash recyclers, and safes to enhance security, flexibility, accountability, eliminate manual logs, and simplify personnel scheduling for areas/safes that require dual control access.
